Default Anyone ever deal with acuraautomotiveparts.net?

They seem to be very unprofessional. So far i've gotten 2 emails, both in caps lock, saying that they don't know what car I ordered parts for, and another one saying that they need my full name to look up my order status even though I gave it to them along with my order number.

Anyone else have any dealings with this dealer? I should have just ordered locally. Ugh.

They've always been very straight forward with me. I've ordered from them like 7 times now, and any problems I've had were cleared up within good reason.

There should only be one guy working the internet parts distribution....Mike. Anybody else you talk to is probably only does the OTC stuff.

I ordered a few things from them like 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything since. I have received 2 e-mails from them though with no message, just a blank page. Weird. In the past they have been great but now I just sit back and wonder...

Yeah I've ordered from them several times and work down the street from them. They're prices suck (well duh it's Acura) but overall seem pretty professional and good on Customer service. I wouldn't have expected you to have a problem with them but you could just be the exception.

Just talked to mike, said the order shipped out. He seems to be pretty cool. Just kind of odd that they don't send any confirmation of shipping or whatever. Thanks guys.

You could also IM Len (user ID len) and get the same parts at equal to less price than acuraap.net.

Ahmotor has done me well in the past, just wanted to try something new.

Does len work at aap also, or have his own thing?

Len works over a Baranco Acura...acuraautomotiveparts.net is Acura Carland. Both in GA but different dealers.

acuraautomotiveparts stole 30 something bucks from me. i ordered 2 balljoints, got charged for it, and never got it. no tracking number, but when i look up my order on the site, it says i have paid and everything. i'll NEVER order from them again. plus, i emailed them every week for about a month.

I've ordered a shift **** from them and the packaging was

the **** plastic honda covering looked like it was in ww2, from all the dirt and dust, and secondly the **** has a few scuffs. luckily it came out with a little buffing.

their pricings seem fair, but ask if i would purchase from there again and i wouldnt be so certain. i'd recommending contacting Len on this board.

Len works with me at Baranco Acura. We will most certainly match and most of the time beat acuraparts.net prices. Plus our customer service has been higher then any other dealers in Atlanta. Not to mention 3 of us that work here own Type R's.

Look at the e-mail that I just received. Looks like our "nut and bolt" orders are not as important as more expensive orders.

[You order cannot be processed because we have a 30.00 minimum order requirement. Not to just save us from being swamped with nut and bolt orders but also the cost to you. Shipping is not included in the total on your order. The handling charge is not for shipping. It is a one time fee to all orders no matter how large. Shipping starts at 5.50, plus the 4.95 handling charge. We sell at a 20% discount so to even cover the 10.45 minimum shipping and handling charge your order would have to be 52.25. All of these parts are available at your local dealer or they can get them in. I know because we are also a dealership. Sorry about that but it would be much cheaper and quicker for you. I hope everybody had/will have a good and safe holiday.]

Hahaha...Your stuff went out FedEx 3Day today cuz I forgot to send it on Friday. No additional charge.

That sucks that you have to order a certain amount before they'll take your order. I mean to a point I can understand what mike is trying to say. It wouldn't make sense to buy a 0.10 screw from me and pay $5 for the shipping when you can go to your local dealer to pick one up for around $0.75.
