yea atleast a 2 foot breaker bar will get it.. make sure you're taking it off the right way too... I broke my breaker bar this weekend trying to get a friend's axle nut off cuz he had me wake up early in the morning to do it..

Use the breaker bar and have someone in the car on the breaks.

Yep breaker bar, and make sure you un-mash the bent in part. Cheap sockets will bust, I broke two one time but it was because the hub nut was put on with an impact and went over a small piece of metal. I use a craftsman 27" breaker bar with a 4 foot pipe, comes off like cake after that.

On the axle nut there should be a little section that has been pused into a groove, now this is to prevent the axle nut from spining off. Now take a punch and hammer out the section of the nut that was pushed in the groove. After that, take the air to it. It sould spinn off.

Also you may want to soak it in some Break Free. Then heat it up with a torch befor you put the breaker bar on it.

I did this yesterday and had no problems. What I use was a 32mm Impact Grade Axle Nut Socket (black) on a 1/2 drive 18'' Craftsman Breaker Bar with a huge 4' aluminum bar put over it. I used a screwdriver and a rubber hammer to bang out the dent in the nut. Then my Dad stood on the brakes and I turned the nut and it came off with no effort.

IT's not that complicated at all.

Flat head screw driver put it in between the caliper and make sure it stays in between the hole of the disc brake.

32mm axle nut

breaker bar with a 2-3ft pole and it should come out.

Make sure you take out the groove thats punched in the axle.

What exactly are you trying to do a swap or?

let me know.

I have a 2.0 t4 turbo crx.

Peace

im on my 4th crx 3rd 92 hatchback 1 rx-7 and 1 88hatch

okay first go to the gym and work out for like a week so u get nice and strong before u start on the axle nut, then the night before u take the axle nut off eat some really healthy food like pasta or something so u have a **** load of carbs and stuff. then the day u go to take the nut off take a mountain dew and drop some creatine in it and mix it up really good and slam it quick. u should be good to go by then......lol. or u can do like evryone else said and the way that i u always do it is take a 32mm socket on the end of a breaker bar with a 2-4 foot pipe and have someone stand on the brakes so they dont spin and waddabing-waddabang it should pop off. just my $0.02. good luck

This is the correct way to do it!
