Need advice on my car
I have an 88 CRX Si. I just bought a sohc vtec head out of a DelSol for my car, but I need advice on what else to do to it now. I want a quick car! Right now my car is completely stock. I know I need an intake, and an exhaust... what else do you suggest for me?
Well it depends on what your goals are you can go turbo, or do a zc or b series swap, tons of options.
Just ask yourself what you plan on doing with this car, ie. racing, drag, daily driver. From there you can get a better idea of what road you want to take with your car.

Well, I race the car, but I also use it for daily driving. I hope to put a turbo on it eventually, but as usual $$$ is a factor. My original plan was to put a B18 in there. A friend of mine came across the sohc vtec head for only 50$ shipped. He had worked on the car it came out of so he knew that it was a good head. I guess my real question is what can I do with it? Is there anything I can/should do to my bottom end, should I hold off on the intake since I want to put a turbo on there, should I get a new cam, what kinds of things can I do to make the car much faster than it already is. Stock I'm running a mid 16 second quarter mile. I want to be much faster than that. Oh yeah, and if you could tell me brands you recommend, that would be helpful as well. I want to do things right the first time around.

if you can go for upgraded internals,if you really want the turbo you'll wait and slowly build up your engine specifically for a turbo. I was going to go turbo, but it was expensive, then i was going to do a head swap, but that seemed too fruitless for the amouunt of money, so now im doing an all NA setup, and the price isn't too bad, and to me it seems much more rewaarding than the the two, but can't be too sure on that one
well you really need to decide how much do you want to spend. You could keep the stock d16a6 that you have (these are cheap and plentiful) and run it stock for now. I would buy a goor cat-back right off hand as you can use it for whatever way you decide to go (supercharger,turbo,n/a,swap) How much of the work are you willing to do yourself. Swap's cane get spendy if you gotta pay for everything. How mechanically incline are you. There are endless options when it come to your crx the only limiting factor is you pocket book. what are you looking to spend
I don't care how much money I spend on my car. I want it done right, it may take longer, but money is no object. I would love to do all the work myself, but there is one small problem with that, I don't know how! I have a couple of friends who own shops here in town. So I will most likely have them do the work with/for me. I just wanted to get another opinion from you guys here on Ht, so thanks guys! I'm enjoying the input.
