IMO, best = b20 vtec FULLY built. it will cost around 10 grand though

more affordable, a b16a is an "ok" choice, they run around 2 grand. a better choice would be a GSR motor, which run 3 grand. if you have 5 grand to spend, look into either integra type r, or fully built ls/vtec. all engines will bolt right in and plug right up, your car is wired for VTEC already

B18C1. Plug and play.
B16A2. Plug and play, cheaper, same hp, less tq than c1.

the b18c1 actually has 10 horses on the b16a on top of a lot more torque.

oh, by the way...

H22, rated at 200HP to the wheels. With mounts and complete swap you are looking at almost the same price as a b18c1; but the b18c1 has about 170HP rated. Then get a flywheel on the h22 and it'll pull hard.
