I just got f$#%# up... I bought this mint JDM steering wheel (which cost me big $$$) and found out it does not fit my 92 civic ... The center core, where the threads are, is to big for my civic, making the steering floating and unoperational... do you guys here recognize this wheel and know on wich car it goes...

 

Looks like an integra Sir-G wheel. All honda steering shafts should have 5/8" inch splines. Could you be more specific as to how it doesnt fit?

 

well.. i don't know how to say in english... but the wheel is female and the steering colum on the car is male... the male part is too small on my civic (diameter)... the female diameter is too big (on the steering wheel)... making the spline on the wheel VS the one on the sterring colums not matching each other...

seems like that one is for a dc2....if u cant make it fit....just pass it down to me.....ill buy it..

its for a Integra SiR Japan, or what we call an IntegraGSR (or really any integra model) in north america, aka DC2, so it wont fit a civic sorry...

I tought integra and civic shared the same steering column

 

they do but i know they have a different wheels, friend bought a wheel for his ITR and turned out to be for a civic only, I thought they would fit since they have the same colum however i guess they dont...really dont know much more than that ask xjohnx on the board if you cant figure it out he went through this already

 

EG and DC steering wheels are interchangeable. EK wheels won't work with either, but i think they do work with s2000's. What I want to know is if my sparco crx EF hub will work on a DA.

well.. most of them JDM and typr R ou S or whatever sell for thoses price... take a look on ebay...

 

just beause they cost that much doesn't mean you have to buy one.

 

Can't the wheel be made to fit? I could swear there are adapters available.
