Just bought JDM steering wheel... pay big $$$ but does not fit... need help
I just got f$#%# up... I bought this mint JDM steering wheel (which cost me big $$$) and found out it does not fit my 92 civic ... The center core, where the threads are, is to big for my civic, making the steering floating and unoperational... do you guys here recognize this wheel and know on wich car it goes...
i was up at a local shop and they had the same problem when i was in there they used a mounting bracket from momo for it.. not sure how it tuned out but i guess thats how you would do it.. they are around 40 dollars i think
Looks like the ITR outer with the 6th gen inner rubber piece...Either way you got jerked...That's not the JDM EG wheel.

That's the problem... it does not fit... let me explain (i'm not very good in english..sorry)... the steering wheel is Female, the steering colum on the car is male. when i come tho put the wheel on the male part, the diameter of the male spline is too small and the steering wheel splines does not match the one on the steering column...

that steering wheel is a 96-00 Civic SiR non-srs steering wheel. it will not fit on an EG or an Integra. just like an ek9 wheel won't fit on a dc2, and a dc2 wheel won't fit on an ek9... sell it and get an EG SiR wheel. or you can get an ek steering column, then that wheel will bolt on.
from what i heard the dc2-r steering wheels will bolt right onto the 92-95 civics w/o any modifications...the ek civic wheels do not...cuz im gettin mine pretty soon and hopefully it'll bolt on

That must suck. Shoulda got a Momo or some sort of performance steering wheel, rather than paying big bucks for a stock steering wheel.
