Steering wheel?
hey i just got this great deal on a steering wheel from a 96-00 civic cuz mine was all cut up and crap when my sol got broken into. my sols a 94 si, the civic wheel should still fit rite? heck, the newer wheels even look exactly like my old one, as well as the accord and integ ones. knowing that honda likes mass-producing parts that fit multiple applications so save on production cost, i'm hoping this wheel will fit for me. whaddya think? tell me it does, please.

Re: Steering wheel? (Pengo)
If U don't mind to spend, get a 350mm steering wheel instead of stock one. This will help U better in feeling the road condition, I am not sure whether it is ture for all civic, the power steering of all civc in Hong kong are really powerful, even a baby can turn it very easily.

Re: Steering wheel? (Pengo)
oh crap, i bought the wheel two days ago, and then tried to put it on this afternoon. disaassembled everything like the service manual said, took out old airbag part, unbolted nut, pulled off old steering wheel. now what the HELL!!! the hub for the new wheel has different wiring harnesses, but i figgered i could splice and reconnect those later. the hub matched up with the steering column and all the screws matched up fine. but then wen i put on the wheel, the teeth on the steering wheel don't match up exactly to the teeth on the steering axle. it's like the new wheel is made 1-2 mm larger than my old one, so i can bolt it down but it wont do anything in terms of making turns. what happened guys? i thought it would def fit?
