Default 1/4 mile times stock?

What is the best time anybody has ran in a 92-95 Si Prelude. In a five speed, and as stock as possible...

can somone explain my why my times are so garbage! I know I'm not the best driver in the world but compared to these numbers I'm not even close. I've only been to the track once and my best was a 16.6xx @ 83.xxxmph (93 SR stock w/ 165,000kms) Now my brother who owns a GSR only ran a 16.2... now that I remember one of my runs was against a Type R, he ran a 15.5 (which I believe is pretty slow for an R)

is that we're all really bad drivers or could it be the track? what would make these times so slow?

What is the elevation where you raced? That plays a big roll.

their web site says 600feet.

can you explain how the altitude effects the performance of your engine? is it because of the air is less dense at higher altitudes? if so how does 600feet compare to sea level?
