Carbon Fiber hood, Carbon fiber trunk, carbon fiber doors, carbon fiber panels, and hell a carbon fiber shift ****. Now kick out your two passenger buddies and tell them to catch the bus. Take out your spare, Spoon rims that weight 12lbs and lose some weight
Thanx!

depends on how much you care about the luxuries of you car. i.e. strip interior (free except for your own time), lightweight forged wheels($$), there are ultra lightweight race buckets out there($$), carbon fiber body panels($$), lexan windows(illegal for the street), lose the entire AC system, power steering system radio and speakers, power windows power antenna or power anything for that matter, spare tire, jack and tool kit, cruise control, get one of those 7lbs optima batteries etc., etc.,etc. and cut out the bottom of your trunk (haha) its not structurally important. uh what else. smaller brakes, lose the bumpers, rearview mirrors, if ya got a sunroof... lose it and weld some sheet metal over the hole. remove the side moldings. hell dude it all depends on how much you like your car the way it is and whether you plan on selling it ever. SCC did a bs article on it a few months back, they got the car down to something like 2000lbs (i think) but there wasn't hardly anything left of it. i've heard it said that for every 100lbs you lose you gain only .1 seconds in the 1/4 mile. not really worth it unless you race professionally imho and they use tube frames and fiberglass body shells to get to their ultralight weights.

Yea Man, ur right !! i think im gonna go wit c/f hood and light wheels...i might do a lil something here and there to get it a lil lighter, but i think im just gonna stick making it look tight, but with tha power and speed to back it up. Thanx for tha feedback this really made me open my eyes to what i was about to do!!

a c/f hood and lightweight wheels alone aren't gonna make much difference alone, on or 2 small things isn't going to matter. it's when you tke out LOTS of little things along with the big things that really affect the weight
example, my Integras stock curb weight is like ~2650lbs, mine currently weight ~2280lbs
-removed A/C compressor, condensor, and evaporator along with all lines
-PS remover as well as all lines
-c/f hood
-only 2 seats, no rear interior panels
-nothing in trunk ever
-16" Rota sub-zeros, 12lbs each
-fender liners removed
-rear wiper removed
-rear wing removed
-SUNROOF removed and replace with a peice of sheetmetal
-no glove box
-no floormats
and coming soon...
-no carpet
-no interior panels what soever (excpet the dash)
-manual windows
-c/f rear hatc w/ lexan rear window
-lexan rear quater winodws

It's not that bad. You won't be picking up most girls in it, but it's not bad.
If I remember correctly, Corey got down to 2500 with a cage, race seat, dash, K1s, and no exhaust. If you figure that the cage weighs 1000 lbs, then he's got that thing to 2400 in street trim(Add in a plug for the header). This is without a CF hood or Lexan windows. That's a free .4 seconds better than stock. AA got 14.0s in a gutted ITR with a cai and no exhaust. For some people those extra tenths are worth it, and for some they aren't.

It's really not that bad not having those extra's (A/C) etc etc. You get use to it quick. Plus, atleast on my 97 base, my PS can't keep up with me anyhow. If i whip the wheel from far left back to right, you can feel in the middle i'm doing manual steering.
