Default Skunk2 vs. DC sports

I am looking for a short shifter for my 94 Teg RS and i can get both of them for the same price - so money is not a factor - but what i wanted to know is which one is better quality? and which one i should get -

Thanks - Brad

I have the DC and I hace nothing but positive things to say about it. I would def go with it over the skunk 2. I also heard the skunk 2 shifter doesnt sit any lower than the stock shifter . But I might be wrong.

Skunk 2 without a doubt.

Skunk 2 design is nice, doesn't rattle and has a double bend.

I have a B&M. I fixed the rattles and others don't like the straight design. I sit close to the wheel and the 3rd and 5th gear shifts I don't need to reach. One reason I didn't like the stock shifter cause the 1st to 2nd shift was awkward.

Anything but the eBay brand will do fine. You'll get what you pay for.

I got the DC one and have had it since October. No problems here.

I say Skunk2, but I have a B&M and the stright design doesn't bother me. I think for a Stainless steel shifter for only 60 bucks it's hard to beat. It doesn't rattle at all, just make sure eveything is screwed down tight

i have the dc shifter coupled with the dc shift **** for about 2 yrs now and no problems at all. I don't know how ppl snap their dc shifters, you must have to be shifting with some serious force to break that ****!!

i had the bm and sold it to get the skunk2. skunk2 is extremely durable, and yes it does sit like an inch higher, but for a short person like me, i like it extremely short throw.

when i was doing research between the two, all signs pointed to skunk2.. all i read about was rattle and fitment issues with the DC.

I also heard the skunk 2 shifter doesnt sit any lower than the stock shifter .
why is that bad? cause it gets in the way of your "stunna/gangsta lean" while driving?

Skunk2 shifter is NICE. I don't have any experience with one installed in a car, though. I have had a $40 generic shifter from AutoZone for over 1.5 years with no problems, no rattles, and it's shaped same as stock, too. However I would love to have a Skunk2 shifter, I just don't want to pay the money for one.

so does the Skunk2 sit any lower than stock - if yes, how much lower. b/c with the Skunk2 shift **** the shift boot sits like 2 inches from the bottom of the ****.

IMO it looks a lot better when the shifter sits lower. Expecially if you have an aftermarket shift ****.
