A lot of you know that I will be doing my GSR swap sometime soon. I am looking to order the motor tomm. if IAS has was I want with their latest shipment. Anyhow, I just cleaned and took a bunch of pics of my Cx motor so I can identify different parts, lines, and harnesses. I think this will make my GSR swap a lot easier knowing what the hell I am messing with.
Check out the before pic (I filled up with oil and left the cap off. Went back after work and the cap was in the parking space I backed out of
)

After about 15 minutes of cleaning. All I had was a large brush and Purpple cleaner. I will be taking the hood off and getting everything with a tooth brush when I do my swap

Onto the tech......
Is that all the main harnesses (5)?
What are those steel lines on the firewall? ...and that metal thing in the middle with the "?" on it?
Thanks!

Brake lines, and the proportioning valve.
Brake lines, and the proportioning valve.
1,2,3 on pass. side and 1,2 on driver side are main harness. You will unplug those when doing your swap. The lines on the back are as others have said- prop valve and brake lines. You won't have to unplug the harness by the distributor either when doing the swap.

The people who say that are probably the ones who don't know anyhow

You should purchase 2. One for your 93 Civic CX, which contains all info chassis, suspension and electrical wise. And another Integra Helms manual for you motor and transmission.

The 96-98 should go with the 93 as well. I've changed out a few suspensions now so I pretty much got that down
