Default Classic thermal r&d?

Does anyone have this exhaust on their car? I think the n1 may just be too weird looking due to the fact its huge and i have a stock looking car. Therefore im taking into consideration setup..What are your guys' opinion on this exhaust? Pics too would be appreciated. Thanks

This is what I am looking for my 92 Prelude too. Is it true that there are no HP gains from this exhaust?? Is it more free flowing?? I mainly want it for the sound since I need to change it out soon anyways but I would like to get an exhaust that will improve performance too.
Thanks

Can't really say for sure about HP gain, but they are definitely better than stock as to flow. You could call them and they will tell you straight-up. I like the fact that their products are made in USA of 100% stainless steel tubing. The install is very simple and the fit is outstanding. I'll add that my Civic has the 4" tip and it looks fine. The Prelude has twin 2.5" tips for the 5th gen.

I'm guessing the N1 would give better gains because it straight-through, whereas the Thermal classic looks like it has baffles in the muffler. Diffrences wouldn't be dramatic though.

Now that I think about it, I would have rather gotten the thermal bc its stainless steel and quieter.

i wish that i could show you a pic or a sound clip man. i love mine. i have it on my 2000 sh. i would say it is the deepest sounding exhaust i have heard on a lude. does not sound like a pissed off weed eater at all. as far as looks. it comes with the dual tipped exhaust just like on stock. just make the tips a bit bigger and polish them up very well. i did notice a power gain on mine. it is ment for more built up vehicles though. so the best mod to go with it is a COMPLETE exhaust/intake setup. if you really want. shoot me an email with your number and i will go outside and start the car, rev it and all so that you get a good idea of what it is like.

I've sent preludeparts.com several emails regarding certain items i was interested in a couple months ago. They never seem to reply to my emails... not once. I'll try again though. Thanks
