I have a 93 civic coupe with 96 JDM Type R motor.. Which intake do i need? They sell J's intake for ITR with ABS, or Without ABS, or EK or EG..
different shapes.. Mike from IPS will try to look into it for me, but I am asking HT members with my set up, what did u get?

 

I think you need the civic one. Ask Ben at A&J, he will know for sure.

The intake without abs is a bit longer and bends away more from the engine.

 

Here is a pic of the non-abs intake


The CF intake that I have the filter sits right in front of the overflow bottle. The abs system in my car sits where the filter is in this pic. That is why there are 2 intakes.

isn't J's intake comes with heat shield?

 

I remember reading that the older models did.

 

Some models came with one and some didn't. I like the non-abs version much better.

The new ones don't have it.

 

The old heatshield fits right over the filter and almost looks restrictive.

 

WHat kind of radiator is that, and is that your car?

 

I think the important thing is the spoon rad hoses, jeez those things are expensive.

that is Ben's car from a&j racing. i believe its a spoon radiator, someone correct me if i'm wrong.
