Default How do you retard timing when the car is running?

Where and how do you free the distributor when the car is running. Someone said something about a service plug.

The reason why you heard service connector and distributor timing is because while the car is running and youre adjusting the timing you are supposed the jump the service connector so the it "blinds" the ecu.

There are (3) 12mm bolts holding the distributor on....2 on top and 1 on the bottom.
