i have a 90 crxsi with a clifford arrow II alarm, and its set up so the parking lights flash 2 times when i arm it, and usually it works fine, but on some rare occasions it flashes once and the second flash just makes the parking lights stay on?

and if you don't catch it happen, then you come back to your car after work finding out it has drained the battery, but usually i just look at the parking lights and make sure they don't stay on, but i was just wondering if anyone knew what this might be or have any tips on what i can do to check the problem? thanks

someone previously said it could be the parking light relay? or a short in the system?
