Default Alternator noise! Please help!!!!!!

I have everything grounded i can think of. The head unit is grounded with 8 gague wire, the engine is grounded with 4 gague in 3 plaaces(alternator, starter, and ac bracket) and 8 gague in 2 places(valve cover/head and IM). The amp is also properly grounded. The audio cables are also ran on the opposite side of the car than the power. My power wire runs close to the alternator. Could this be the problem.

The noise did get better after i ran all the ground wires but there is still a slight buzz and a ticking noise. Any one have any sudgestions??

Ground ALL of your audio equipment at a point close to the amp.
