Default 89 2.0 si perlude vac line a timing q

Hi. I have a 89 prelude SI. It has the 2.0 motor in it. I was woundering were to go to get a pic of all the vac. lines and If anyonecan help me to time the motor, I looked but didn't see and marks on the crank. Any help would be nice. I just put a new bottom end on my motor, but it won't stay running.

For the vaccum lines, you'd have to get a Helms manual.

As for the timing, you need a timing gun, a 10mm and a paperclip. Find a yellow plug at the base of the windshield on the passanger side. Un do the yellow condom and use the paperclip to jump it. Then remove the black plug that sits directly between the transmission and the engine block and then hit it with the timing gun. It should be about 14' advanced, stock. If not, then un-do the dizzy, and then move the dizzy towards the firewall to advance, and towards the radiator to retard.

ok, thanx. that helps a lot. I looked at the timing belt, and I think the first cam is off. the arrows on the cam should both point down, right? The first cam looks to point forward when the other arrow points down, but to guess, I would say the belt is off by like onlya tooth. like the timing belt jumped a tooth, can that happen?

Number one cylinder is at the front of the engine, so it's the furtherest away from the transmission.

#1 cyl is closest to t-belt, arrows on cam gears will both point straight up when #1 is at tdc
