My engine is not grounded, which I just discovered. It hasnt been grounded since I bought the car
yea flame me whatever. All I need to know is, what is the proper way to ground it. Why does the engine need to be grounded and how can it be bad if it is not??
Thank you for you time.
OK edited: connect a wire from under the front right valve cover stud. Run a wire from that to the chassis above the headlight, there are some holes to put a screw in. Your transmission should also be grounded on the top of the tranny there should be a ground wire connected.

i thought it was the bolt to the left of the "hole" too.

there are a couple places that the engine (I.E. wire harness is grounded) Nothing will happen if it is not grounded but you can run into things like a weak spark. if the harness was truely not grounded anywhere nothing woul work.
I think.
I think.
