just bout my gsr.. need some advise on mods
i just bought a 97 gsr.. this is what its got;
exterior- carbon fiber hood, jdm front end, type r wing, rims/tires.
interior- aluminum dash kit, tenzo r seats, indiglo gauges.
engine- cia, valve springs, radiator, headers, apexi cat-back
suspension/brakes- drilled/slotted rotors, ajustable coils, 2 stut bars,
swaybar
the question i have is .. whats next. im a senior in high school so im not pulling alot of cash, especially before june. i just bought her and shes not goin on the road to save her through the winter. so i want to do a mod before march. i need some ideas. do i go all motor? in wich case what do i get next? should i try to get a used supercharger?.. also the car came with a zex dry kit but i have reservations about putting it in because ive had to work alot ot afford this car and im worried about ******* it up. any opinions would be helpful

wow a senior in highschool w/ a fixed up car like that......BEWARE of haters! I recommend going all motor....less problems down the road. sell the aluminum dash kit, and the indiglo gauages.....maybe get a jdm itr front lip if it doesnt have one already? a little bit of bump? lo jack? cams? cam gears? vafc? chipped ecu? the list can go on and on.....but its really up to you. looks over performance? security over all of it?

sounds like a great car --- what kind coilovers does it have? if its something crappy id deal with that, and get some shocks.
okay sorry i read the ebay thing --- definitely ditch the ractive coilovers for some ground controls or a nice H&R spring setup and get some shocks.

i whent with stero and lights. im a freshman and people at my school think that my car is all pimp. even seniors cus of my stero. so if the people at your school know alot about cars then i would go with performance. if not then go with the stereo. thats just my opion.

first thing i got to say is... im already back to the stock tails. the altezzas were stupid. also i was thinkin to go cams. mainly the skunk2 stage 2. but they are pritty expensive. the cir and itr are the most inexpensive but are they any better than stock. the itr only has like 25 mroe hp than the gsr so i cant imagine that itr cams would make a solid differnce in the preformance. also i havent seen many differnt kinds of cams on the market, so how good are skunk2. by what i read they seem to be pritty nice, but i just want to check.
def get some cams..i just installed my itr cams today and i love them...also u may want to get a vafc and a lot of peps on here dont like the tenzo seats so u may wanna get somethin else..nice car tho i like it and im glad u put the stock tails on it
whats the problem with the tenzoR seats? i think they are sic. anyways im lookin at doin some fuel or ignigtion ****. plugs, wires, fuel rail, maybe a fuel pump. what kind of hp gain would that be if any?

i would first buy a good intake then go with a header and midpipe to finish off the exhaust. then save up for a turbo or super charger, or get a body kit

... thats a great reason to get rid of the seats...cuz people on here don't like them
yea they dont like them cuz they are poor quality and prolly arent crash tested
I wish my car had that much **** when I was a senior in H.S.
But anyway like everyone is saying get a good quality suspension setup, or the OEM kit if you don't already got it, either are definately worth the money. And also a good security system, don't want to be another teg victim!
