i am looking at skunk2 and neuspeed right now what brand and also any other suggestions??

 

i'm going with skunk2. it sits near stock height and i haven't heard any bad things about them. that i have the skunk2 **** so why not you know!!

 

I heard Skunk2 and DC make one of the best short shifters. But i say just go w/ Skunk2.. there products are just to damn Good.

I have the Solo. It is a great shifter. It is a little shorter than the stock in height and is about 40% shorter in throw. Which ever one you go with you need to get a heavy **** also.

 

Buy a Type R one OEM and machine it down to fit. OEM and works great with some shifter bushings!

 

i have a dc on my 00si. it is ok. i have heard good things about c's, but i have never used one. but ive never heard bad things about c's, its like 300 bones but you get what you pay for. if i were to do it over (i may buy it anyways) i would get the c's!

Why is it so important for the **** to be heavy? Just curious... kinda interested to in buying one some day. Thanks.

get a C's......crazy expensive from http://www.jdmspecperf.com ($300).
but its the best short shifter on the market.

 

DC snap it happened to a guy i know at carlisle.
