Since this board moves faster than tech or hybrid, i was wondering if anybody can help me.

I'm swapping a d16z6 into my VX and i wondering if i could use the Vx engine harness, or would i have to find the harness for the d16z6.....i think the only difference is the 5 wire O2 sensor compared to the 4 wire of the d16z6 motor.
Any input would be gladly apprieciated....Thanks

 

Yes you can use your stock VX harness. The O2 sensor should be the only wiring required, everything else is plug and play.

 

d16z6 os sensor
White------d14
Orange / Black-----a6
12v souce one wire
Ground the other wire

 

i did a mini-me, basically like swapping in a z6.

The existing harness should work, i used it and just hardwired 2 of the 4 wires for the o2.
