when I bought my R on 10/25/02 My dealer and I made the agreement that the gas door would be replaced with one that was not damaged. The one that wa, or still is on the car has a large dent where it had been 'over' opened. The door was ordered after numerous calls and a month and a half going by. The dealership uses independant contractors to do their body-work/paint and he has just now gotten around to painting it. It wont be done until monday Also I ordered a clutch pedal pad last Tuesday and it still hasnt arrived. Did they have to ship one from Japan?! WTF?! Its a piece for rubber! I just had to blow off some steam. If anyone ever comes to Macon, GA car shopping DONT GO TO SUTTON ACURA!

 

Word to that. I totally hate going to my dealer because I every time I know I take it in the *** w/ the rip off prices. I always try to get my parts from the internet if possible. If you need parts, I know the HT members have a hookup with Len who is a member here. I believe he works at Baranco Acura in Jonesboro. He could probably get you better prices and faster shipping than your dealer.

I went to may local Acura dealer for a dent.... 1240.00 quote... After dumping a load in my pants... I took it to another dealer... 430.00 ...

 

just an FYI, if they dont stock this peice (Which they should, its as common as a bolt or plastic clip) goto a honda dealer and ask for a clutch or brake cover, theyre all the same from like 84 on to 2001. its the same mold/pedal sets. so just grab one from honda, it could possibly be cheaper.
