best sleeve coilovers for an integra????
my friend has a 95 integra and he plans on lowering it now, with kyb struts and he is looking for the best sleeve coilover to use, any tips for him..which ones are best for overall ride characteristics and good handling and quality. he's thinking ground control, or skunk2, what else or what do you guys suggest? thanx for help.......
I personally am looking at ground control. I've heard nothing but good things about them. I was thinking skunk2, but a lot of people seem to think that their parts aren't all they are cracked up to be. Or you could tell your friend to save for full Tein coilovers
i told him to go with real full coilovers but he cant afford them which is understandable,,so i guess g-c coil's are the way to go.....anyone else suggest any?
I'm using the ground controls and they're just fine. Good quality and a simple design with street friendly spring rates. I think they fit to what your friend wants.
Ground Controls with Yellows work great for me on the street and auto-x
Do some investigating on spring rates before you buy some....If you are looking to do any kind of racing that involves turning you'll want to do your research

ground controls should work fine . i used them and had no problems . i replaced them with sum apex N1s , i hope they turnout to be better than the GC/tokico combo .
i'm using the Skunk2's with KYB AGX's and they're working great for me. Allthough, now i wish i would've got some custom spring rate G-C's, i want stiffer
i would say ground controls are by far some of hte best out there. they have the one lockring design for the lift plate. but i don't know if htey make apair for the kyb's. second would have to be skunk2's.
