Motor Plates?
I know that the old domestic V8 guys alot of times use motor plates for their cars and I know of one person in the import scene use uses one; Gary Gardella. How would this possibly be a benefit for the imports and how could someone possibly make one work with an import?
The rear mount would be pretty easy to fabricate on the rear subframe but what about a front mount? I was guessing something like a traction bar could do but would it be enough? Something like the JimFab traction bars i have been reading about? I don'd know if i could trust 6 bolts holding the weight and torque of a motor.
Thanks in advance;
Will

have it incorporated into the traction bar or if you have a cage like gary that comes through the front and across you can tie it in..... one of the best things about it is changing a tranny is alot quicker... it also isnt gonna flex at all. i mean think about it the mounts that we utilize are pretty good. but after launching a car with nearly 1000 hp its gonna take its toll on the surrounding metal that the mounts tie into. its really not all that simple either in order to do there are certain things that have to be done with release bearing and such....
