well, i am contemplating selling my car in the near future, not until after this summer, but i am just curious about what i should ask for my setup.

91HF, good original paint (white), no rust, 220k on the odom, good interior(never smoked in), straight frame (no accidents)
B16a, with approx 40grand total on it, ( i put like 5 grand on it )

New tires
Clear corners on the front
Fiberimages C/F hood (JDM Style)
new speakers (front and rear)

Just give me a ballpark of what i am looking at to get if i do decide to sell the old Rex

oh yea, and one more thing, the car passed PA state inspection and emmissions with the swap last year, which i know is sometimes a problem for other cars and could add some value to mine, or not, whatever

That sounds like a sweet ride! You will probably never get half of what you in the car so far. Sorry to say that but now I am in the same position myself.

 

I know i will not get close to what i put into it money-wise, i was just curious about what a reasonable asking price would be for my car, so if anyone has an idea of what my setup will sell for then give me an idea of what to expect

pictures would help. but by the sound of things, i would say 5 grand. give or take a few hundred depending on what it looks like if what it drives like. but i could be wrong, you might get a lot more, or a low baller offer. *shrug*

honestly i would give you $3-3,500.. thats just me.. since all my cars i get for great prices 90 Hatch Dx $1500(145k).. 90 CRX Si $1500(132k) both were in good/almost mint condition with on them. So it depends on the person.. and where you sell it.. In PA/NJ/NY dont expect that much doubt you'll get $5k unless it was the SI model then maybe $4k..

I myself sell cars at a used dealer so.. and me as a customer would pay no more than $3.5k thats a reasonable AS IS price for that car I would think. But you just wanted a price for how much you could get right?

If your selling it in the summer I might be interested.

Hey man, Doylestown is pretty close to me. To bad Ive never seen your rex, sounds awsome! Dont know about Doylestown, but not many crx's here in Ambler, let alone nice ones(or even ones that arent beat to crap)!

 

yea, i am close to ambler, the hood and the rims are off for winter reasons, so it basically looks stock except for the ride height, i would like to see your rex sometime, we shold have a bucks county meet sometime and get them alll together

Eh, my crx isnt very impressive as of right now. Its kinda ricey now until Im done with it (17's, altezza's). I plan on getting WW body kit (molded sides), light 16's, a nice hood, and a good paint job. Then Im doing the engine... havent decided what I want yet but it will be nice when im done. Reason Im doing apperance stuff first is cause its my first car and show thrills, speed kills

Hell, I dont even have my lisence yet. Going for it thursday.

My car is nice in my head, but wont be nice on the streets for a couple years. Things are going really really slow. I have had the car for nearly and year and havent done much at all yet! Should be doing suspension this month! Got the ground-controls, just need to find some nice shocks.

Yeah, the other day I looked in front of the school and there were literally 4 civics parked next to each other... all had altezza's. I was like what the hell is the world coming to! A bunch of losers! Then, to my dismay, I realized if anyone saw MY car they would conclude the same thing Please dont worry, that's not what Im going for at all. I do plan on getting rid of them, but its not really important now.

I think im going to end up getting clear tails and painting em all red.

I must say i've been to doylestown and it rocks...but i'd say 4-5 grand there is always a hardcore ricer with mommy's money
