Default Buying a 1991 Civic Si

it has a ZC swap, no rust, faded red paint. Bad brake booster and rear main seal. I'm getitng it for 1200. I test drove it, and it seems to pull pretty good. My questions are 1. will my brake booster off my wrecked 88 HF work? 2. You think I'm getting a good deal? Intake, front and rear strut bars. Nice body, nice interior (no headliner) horrible paint. I have 3 (ordering 4th) wheels and tires off my rex, my carbon fiber hood, my struts/coilovers, my carbon fiber exhaust, and my projector headlights to put on it outta my CR-X. I think 1200 for 91 zc civic si is fair, do you?

that's a really good deal, even with a little bit of work needed to it - wish something like thatwould pop around where I live

for your brake booster, yes I believe any 88-91 is direct bolt on, also 90 teg is bolt on

what is this ? my carbon fiber exhaust

I have a carbon fiber R1 muffler off my CR-X. The car is a hatch, not a rex.

thats a damn good deal it sounds like to me, as long as the swap was done right you should be fine. Just make sure to have the motor tested (leak down/ compression) and check for any signs of abuse to it. Most likley the guy was rough on it, but as long as it runs good, should be fine.

Sounds like a sweet deal!!

I didn't think that the CR-X hoods would fit onto a Hatchy?!?!?!

With the extra power that you have I would defnatly go with the teg brake booster. Then maybe get a set of rear discs.

here are some pics. I go to pick it up this afternoon. First things first, DE-RICE IT. No stickers, take off that crappy exhaust, paint it flat black, put my carbon fiber hood, my projector headlights, and my struts/coilovers on it. Even ricey, not bad for 1200. Now I can say ZC powa all the time

I'd buy it, especially for $1200 with a ZC.

Post it up (In the pic post of course Breaka) once you de-rice it.

yes after this its pic post for it I know. Flat black, slammed on my 16s it'll look decent. That is what I figured, no matter what shape a Si with a ZC is worth it lol

Damn, that is a good deal. Rear main seal may be kind of a pain to replace, but pulling a ZC isnt too hard. Brake booster should be an easy fix. Definantley de-rice it. Good luck.
