I just installed a new headgasket on my ls/vtec and when i started it up nothing leaks. But when the car gets warmed up i see oil dripping from under the cam gears. So i put some high temp silicone on the corners of the valve cover and waited approx 14 hours and started it back up. After about 5-10 mins of idleing I saw oil dripping again from under the cam gears.
Could it be my cam seals????
Or is it maybe the silocone didnt fully dry and it gets melted when the car gets warmed up???
Please help me I miss my LS/VTEC
TIA

if you put new cams in and didnt change the cam seals it could be them..other wise id change the gasket on the valve cover..

the cam are the same
they were not changed
the cam seals are as old as the valve cover gasket
only like 600 miles old
Thanks

my valve cover gasket sometimes folds under when i remove the valve cover, and causes it to leak from behind the cam gears.
its a long shot, but if thats not it, could be the headgasket or camseals.

i had the same problem with my cam gears. U have to replace the camshaft seals. Because once you move them around or take them off, they have to be changed.
