i have a set of red honda badges that my bro gave me, and i was wondering if the red honda badges will fit. It has 2 pins and a sticker on the back.
and how do i remove the oem acura badges from the car without chipping the paint?
thanks, i already did a search and came up with nothing.

Fishing line worked between the emblem and the car should release most of the adhesive. In the front, there are two clips behind the bumper cover in addition to the adhesive. I've never wanted to bother going behind the bumper, so I've always just broken them off. Obviously though, this isn't the best way to do it, and you run the slight risk of damaging the bumper cover.
EDIT: Try to lift the emblem straight off rather than prying from one side, as Honda sheetmetal is so thin that there is the very real possibility of denting the decklid with the opposite corner or edge of the emblem.

there are tiny compression lock washers on the back of the pins. you will need to get behind the body panels at the bumper and the rear to take the washers off. then once they are off, take a wide metal putty knife, slide it under the emblem slightly to protect the paint and use a flat blade screwdriver between the putty knife and emblem and pry it up. If you are carefule it should come off with no issues. the H should fit right where the A was.

I used thicker adhesive on mine, allowing it to conform to the USDM bumper. The curve isn't terribly noticible, but no, as delivered the front badge won't adhere properly.

ok guys, the installation went fine. i did it only 10minutes, just took a blowdryer and used a credit card to get both "
" symbols off. then i used some aclohol to clean the adhesive. the rear emblem installastion was easy, it lined up correctly with the prongs. The front emblem installation was a bit harder because i had to break the prongs on the back of the "
"emblem to stick it on and it fits nicely on the front too, the whole "
" emblem is curved with the bumper. the only problem is the red on the "
" is a lighter red than the "
".
i wish had pics to show u guys but i dont have a digital camera.
but thanks for all the advices.
almost forgot. If i take off the "acura" (silver colour) amblem on the back will there be holes behind it?
