b18 swap or turbo'd d16???? need some advice here guys.... pro's and conn's

Default b18 swap or turbo'd d16???? need some advice here guys.... pro's and conn's

I can get a b18 from an integra full swap for 650$
114k on the motor.... (5spd)

I have almost a whole pieced together kit in my room for d16
Saab intercooler
450cc injectors
safc
DSM bov
14b
HF manifold
Boost gauge


well now Im debating on which one I should do what do you guys think?

Well, I guess it all depends on what you want. Right now, the turbo d16 will probably be quicker(depending on the boost you are running) but the b18 will prob. be more reliable in the long run. Also, you might want to do a search, I've seen a topic similar to this that gave some good feedback.

lol i just asked this qeustion couple days ago...im going through the same problem..but decided to go with the b18 and use my DIY turbo kit on my b18..now i just got to sell me turbo and dseries mani to get a bseries mani..

A swap will leave you a lot more room to grow in the future, and will be more reliable. I'd swap it, and if that's not enough, there's nothing stopping you from doing a turbo setup later.
