Default J&S question(s)

I was wondering if i can use my factory knock sensor and wire that into the J&S to get its readings? Or do i need an aftermarket unit (GM unit)

allso i have a dual monitor and need to know how to hook it up, there are two (2) hookups on the back, a small one and and a large one.

Thanks

Rob

How are you going to bump something after 10 minutes? Hey mine's just the single monitor right?

Yes, the J&S uses your factory knock sensor....what car do you have?
The actual knock indicator/LED part of the dual monitor is connected by the wire with plugs on both ends. One end plugs into the back of the dual monitor and the other plugs into the front of the J&S unit.
The O2 sensor has a wire with a plug that goes into the back of the dual monitor and three wires on the other end that splice into your ecu O2 sensor signal wire and 2 grounds I think. I did not use this since I have an FJO LED display.

What Farnsrocket said is correct. The cable that has 3 wires should be connected as such -> bare wire to chassis ground, ground wire to O2 sensor ground, signal wire to O2 sensor wire (white).
