What parts are needed? What kind of modifications are needed in order for it to work properly/look smoothe? Anyone know of any sites? I plan to do this to my Si.

 

**** **** ****, if i can only remember what issue it was... In my Super Street a while back, a 5th gen hatch was featured with a jdm intgra front end... I remember reading that "to maintain a solid fit, he chose to go with the mugen front bumper..." something like that... it was a very clean job... everything fron the front fenders-on were changed... so im assuming u need the hood, headlights, front fenders, and the front bumper... but im sure there would be SOME fabrication required... GOODLUCK!

 

I've seen a picture of the car posted here on the site. There's also a black one I believe, don't know who actually owns it. Try a search to see what comes up. It looks good, depending on how good the body work was done. Not my kind of thing though.

 

I have seen it done but it cant be easy. For one thing, the teg is about 2 inches longer than the civic meaning you would have to lengthen the support structure for the front end or shorten the hood and fenders. you would have to modify the fenders anyway where they meet the windsheild 'A' pillar, the civic and teg are completely different. A comptetent body shop that knows how to fabricate metalwork could pull it of but you're talking thousands of dollars in labor on top of the parts themselves which run 3 to 4 grand.

This is NOT something that can be done as a shade tree weekend project. I know a lot about body work and I have actually thought about this modification but I wouldn't dare to attempt it myself.

It looks tight but not worth it IMHO

The place that i took my car to get its paint job was doing a ITR conversion on a 94 HB. he had the civicfenders, civic hood, and ITR front bumperand lights. the civic in super street that red wine one. had a civic hood to! and civic fenders!!!! the ITR fenders look stupid cause of the side spoilers or what ever they are called look stupid you will have 2 the civic one and the ITR one. but he did thework his self the person that owned the car he worked for the body shop then quit after it was done. it came out really nice. has not been seen on the street yet though.

Trust me. Thats massivly understating it. It's nowhere near as easy as just bolting that **** on. There is a lot of custom fabrication work that would have to occur and its not like you can just grab a TIG welder and go to town. things have to align properly or it will never look good.

Just my 2 cents. I still don't think its worth the effort.
