hey there prelude people.
let me break it down. my sister lives in japan right now and has a prelude 4ws (so im assuming its a 92.. i dont know much about lude models and such) and is in good shape, car is balck with blue interior.
she told me if i wanted it she would ship it. it would prob cost about $2000 CDN to ship it over. i dont mind driving on the right side of car but the only thing that bugs me is that its an automatic . so should i get her to send it to me or should i just say no its ok. is having an automatic prelude still fun to drive.
can you guys tell me the ups and downs of have a automatic JDM prelude...

 

dont become a jdm bandwagon *****. its the same thing as a regular usdm 4ws car except except it is rhd and has a few jdm goodies. bottom line its slow, i would have her buy a 5spd vtec rhd and ship it over or get it and do a h22a swap as well as a 5spd conversion.

but what are the canadian laws regarding privately imported vehicles. you may want to look into that first.

 

It would be better if it was a car that we don't get over here.

 

I'm thinking you would have major problems getting that thing licensed.

yeah the thing that is a plus is that its free, but the thing that is a negative is that its an automatic.

 

you might have to pass a right-hand driving test like the postal carriers.
