Default Front sway bar??

OK I was reading some of the archived topics and ran across a thread where someone was asking where to get a front sway bar from since he already has the rear and the only responses that he recieved were that a front sway bar is pointless and if anything takes away from what the rear sway bar is doing. So what I am wondering is if I should get one or not?? If so, why should I get one?? If not, why shouldnt I? Thanks for the help I dont want to spend money on something if its not worth it!!

If you ask me, just get something like the Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bar kit. But you have to be watch it, because it will completely change the way the car handles.

disconnecting/removing the front sway bar allows the rear to be more "happy". for a daily driven car, i wouldn't disconnect/remove the front sway bar. you could get yourself into some tricky situations if you ever had to me an evasive manevour (whoa big words from me ).

a strut bar goes across the top of your shocks.

a sway bar connects the control arms to the chassis.

So then if I got the ST sway bar kit (front and rear) would the front one over compensate for the rear one? I mean would it then be better to put a bigger bar up front cause yes this will be a daily driven car? Cause like I had said that other thread basically said that if you get a front and rear its a waste cause the front one takes away what the rear will do??. Is this true at all? And how much would the car handle differently with a front and rear sway bar over just a rear sway bar?? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get some facts straight.

not running a front swap bar on a daily driver. it feels kinda twitchy at tops speeds but i adapted to it. for low speed river roads that i drive daily its more fun. if i had a swap i would run one but i like the way it feels without it. just have to be a little careful till you get use to it. im about to order the St rear kit.

the st front bar is pretty big from what i remember (don't know the exact size off hand). if you get any st bar, just get the rear one. its adjustable so you could set it to 18mm and if you wanted to do some auto-x, bump it up to 22mm.

I mean would it then be better to put a bigger bar up front cause yes this will be a daily driven car?
if you don't push your car hard on the street and you don't auto-x/road race it, then put both st sway bars on it. the car won't sway as much, but it might push in turns a little more.

Cause like I had said that other thread basically said that if you get a front and rear its a waste cause the front one takes away what the rear will do??. Is this true at all?
i'm not too sure about this as i haven't had the st front bar or rear bar or both bars.

a car with a front and rear bar will understeer (push) in turns more. without a front bar the car will overstreer (tail will swing out more).

very true. but i have driven a LS swaped crx with the SI rear, DX front swap bars and could swing the tail end out easier then mine. but what he said is true the car feels like it drops off into the curve harder and has more of a control feeling to it. if you have the whole SI sway bar kit just try all of it and play with setting to see how you like it. better then us telling you what you like. not that hard to add/remove.
