I see too many people doing this JDM thing. I'm fine with that. But why do these people that don't know their S**T (not everyone) hating on cars that are made for show purpose? I think that will make everyone a lil happier and make this forum a lil more balanced rather than a JDM feista.

 

yia its kinda werid how people all want to be different. why not just do what u like. i guess to the people that dont know there S**T and hate on other cars expect there car to look likk theres. kinda likk how people are. but judging is always going to be there.

 

I have to agree with this whenever theres a post about a show car it is instantley flamed myself in the PAST included but when a spoon show car is posted it is almost praised, until recentley. We have to take into acount what the cars intended purpose is and base our opinions on that.

IMO if a show car is made with class and isn't just put together I can apreciate it for the work and dedication put into it, even if its not my cup of tea.

but people like "rideinmyhonda" will be flamed due to the pure ignorance and lack of education found in there posts.

I would be all for a show car section but I think it would end up being just like DFH

who cares? if you dont like peoples opinions, leave. Its your car you should like it, and there are places on the internet where other people like it. maybe its not here.

I think the Appearance forum is fine as it is in covering these areas. Someone's always going to voice their opinion so who cares.

 

True. And there still can be show cars that look non-ricey too. Take for instance a 240 w. s15 convo and whatnot..that would be a show car but is clean

It's too fine of a line to draw...Afterall, JDM is a very loose term thrown around. There would be too many crossovers...People getting pissed, etc. And what about all those folks that build a race-car clone and use it as a show car? Where would they post? Too many holes in the proposition...
