Those with Rota wheels, inspect them

There was a recent autocross near Houston TX in which this happened:

Now this doesn't mean you should automatically hate Rota wheels and think their quality sucks. This just one freak occurence, but you should still probably inspect your wheels. That thread above discusses ways to inspect the wheels. I am posting this in other forums that might have many users running Rota wheels.

If I remember correctly, a while ago (at least 1 year) someone posted here about how his Rota C8 (Bronze one) sheared off at the hub too. I hope someone still have the picture.

wow, any word on what happened to that guy with the wrx? did rota compensate him? i was looking to get rotas....... still considering, but i wanna know what when on with that thing.

rota paid for all damages and gave him four new rotas of his choice. they also paid for his lost track time and paid for mounting and balancing of the tires.
thats good customer service. i guess he bought the wheels used too.
