hold down the brake and step on the gas, when time to go let go of brake. easy as that.

Theres two ways to launch an automatic, you can hold the brake and floor the gas at the same time, and when its time to take off release the brake and punch the gas.
Second is a neutral drop=put the car in neutral and stage the car and pop it into drive.

do not neautral drop. You'll gain reaction time on your et's. The best way is to power brake, but that's bad on the engine and tranny. The only option to do so safely is a torque converter. Stock ones are good to about, what, like not even 2 thou.

yeah i was gonna say use a catapault(sp?) to launch it into the neighbors yard so you can do a manual conversion. neighbors like that ****. flying honda trannies an stuff...

thanks everyone for the tips, ive done nuetral drops before.. and yea it hurts the car.... but as far as brake torqueing is concerned... my car only revs till about 2100 before the brakes start giving out... what do prices on a torque converter run? would a 2500 rpm do ok? thanks!

yah, not trying to be a dick, but i agree that a tranny swap is the most cost efficient option. plus the fact that i can't drive automatic, it's to frustrating. stupid honda autos. you press on the gas, tell it to downshift, and it goes down one gear like 10 seconds later, and you're still at 3000 rpms. 5 speed is the only way to go, all my cars are 5 speed (except for the ef, it's 4 speed manual lol)
1) put it into N
2) Floor the Gas
3) Slam the shifter into Drive
4) with a sharp reaction, Slam the shifter into Reverse while pushing the button
5) Repeat Step 3
6) Slam the shifter into Park
6) Open the Drivers side door
7) Run around the car screaming
8) Pat yourself on the back and realize its that simple to have a reason to get a 5 speed conversion.
P.S. this is a joke and i dont recommend this at all to anyone unless you have one of those kickass winter beaters that never dies regardless of what you do to it!

put it in park.. floor it. keep ur foot on the gas no matter what. watch the smoke come from ur hood. when enough comes so you can't see anything, then put it in drive, and watch ur car roll like it's got no engine.
trust me, best thing to do.
naw, just playin. don't put ur foot on the brake and rev, it ruins ur brakes.
