Default Stock b18c throttle bodies, and skunk2 intake manifold...

Alright, I have searched, but was unable to come up with a defineate answer. How big is the stock b18c1 throttle body? Is there a difference between OBD1 and 2? How big is the skunk2 Intake manifold for a b18c1? Basically I am interested in port matching. Someone please inlighten me. Should I use a ported and polished stock TB, or should I purchase a new one? If so what is good?

$360 is a deal, but I am on a strict budget. If it is possible, I would like to get my b18c1 TB port patched to my skunk2 Intake Manifold. Can it be done?

i got both throttle bodies. a '94 & 01 one. both same size, 60mm. i notice the '94 one has a fast idle valve on the bottom portion of the throttle body whereas the '01 doesn't. '94 one has a vacumn line near the map, '01 just has a hole where the vacumn line should be at, but isn't present. you could always check ebay for pics so you know what i'm talking about. if i could find a ruler in my place, i could give you a definite answer to the size of the sk2 manifold. i say bore out your current TB, more cheaper than spending $300+ for a new throttle body.

Thanks for the info. I found out that the skunk2 IM is 64MM. My next question is can the stock TB be ported to 64MM?

ive run a gsr tb to a skunk2 manifold. you get a slight whistle. not worth spending 300$ for the few hp gain you will see.

What are you saying? That ths skunk2 is a waste of money, or that port matching a GSR TB to match it is a waste of money?

Ohhh so thats what the whistling is. I knew it was from the intake, i was thinking manifold leak or just how the filter was designed. Alright thanks for clearing that up. It is really loud though, whenever someone asks me what it is, I tell them its my cat.
