Hey guys, I have a big brake kit on my sol - was installed when I bought the car - I want to get rid of it and drop a couple inches off my rim size I'm wondering, however...since I don't know a ton about this...I want 4 wheel disc but is there a particular model I have to get stock brakes from? I have the brakes from a 90 CRX SI layin in the garage, will those work? I dunno ... your help would be appreciated, thx.

I'll get rid of them...shoot me your offer...ill take some pics tonight though...the rears are squeakin a little right now but im sure that could be fixed pretty simply.
Have to know what to replace them with before I can take them off though...thanks for the post.

 

The Del Sol Si or the VTEC have rear discs. The question is whether you have ABS or not(I think). I am positive that the 93 Del Sol Si has no ABS. Also the 92-95 Civic Si(EG6) has rear discs that will fit, but some do have ABS and others don't. Hope that helps.

You should have 4 wheel disk brakes if it was an si. I have a 93 si sol and have factory 4 wheel disks. My recomendation would be aquire all stock components add axxis ultimates for pads ss lines and ATE super blue fluid. That would be a good street set up. If you need more get GSR fronts.

 

thanks...brakes are all pretty interchangeable then? Don't need anything super fancy but I'll check that setup out cause it sounds decent.

 

Del sol chassis are the same as Civics. Most, If not all Civic/Integra/Sol, are interchangable between those cars
