i have a 94 cx hatch, has single wire 02 sensor. i have a d16z6 w/p28 which is setup for 4 wire 02 sensor. i have to use the engine harness from the cx... so how do i do that? i know i have to add wires for vtec, but do i need to chop the plug from my old harness off the crx and then run my own 02 sensor wires? thanks

 

yes you do need too run the 4 wire if you are using the cx harness

if it is a 92 it is plug and play whin i did my swap i did not wire anything

 

it is easier and best to just get the d16z6 wire harness and do it that way.....have have done 3 1 to 4 wire conversions and eventually they all throw a tps code....becuase you splice into the green wire on the tps or map sensor

 

so do i need to have a hatch Si harness, or will a civic ex harness work as well? and how much do you think it will run me for a harness in good shape..?

also, with the z6 harness... will it all plug in just fine at the strut tower clips? and how do i add the wires from the strut tower to he ecu? thanka a lot
