Default sorry guys....

Well, all didn't go as planned. First the H22 Civic got squashed b/c of time restraints and the reliability wasn't what I needed for a car. The good condition Prelude idea didn't go over in the time frame that I had (which was about 2 weeks since school starts next week). So I sold out and bought a 2003 Civic Si in NBP. I got it for a decent price and it should work out as a little transport for the next 2 years of school. So again, sorry guys!! I'll continue to frequent this board since it seems that a lot of the Civic guys are kind of retarded when it comes to tech. Just thought I'd share.

Yeah I still have the parts. It just wasn't logical to try and do another project car at this point in my life. I need to focus on school more than anything, so I decided to go with the warranteed vehicle. It'll prevent me from modding and I won't have to worry about much else. I'm going to miss the Prelude, but once I'm out of school I might have to pick myself up another gorgeous 4th gen VTEC to play with.

Whatever. I don't mean to be an ***, but I didn't really ask for opinions. I just wanted to let you guys know since I've spent the past 2 years with you. I'm happy and its more practical for what I do at school. I'll miss the Prelude, but at times you need to grow out of what you REALLY want and get what you REALLY need. Sorry.

you gotta do what you gotta do

its not like he is one of those ricey civic kids. And oddysey's cost more and use more gas. Civic is a great car if you are using it wat is was meant for in the 1st place, an economic daily driver.

so to him i say and keep that pride bumpin

Ahhh Ryan, that kinda sucks that you were rushed to get a car so soon. I'm sure the '03 Civic Si is a nice car, I've never ridden in one or driven one personally. But it should be a good car for just getting you around and I'm sure it will have some decent mod potential in the future. But that's definately much more expensive than what insurance would give you for your Prelude, I hope you really like the car then.

lol Mike! Yeah, it was quite a bit more than what insurance paid out on the Prelude. I did get a good deal with 1.9% financing and a 100,000 mi warranty. For those of you who haven't driven one, it handles like a little gokart. All it needs is a good set of coilovers (think Tein) and a set of higher performance tires and you would be good to go. And the seats are comfy as hell!! I think they're waaay more comfortable than the 4th gen leathers, which really lacked in the lumbar area and shoulder bolsters. I'll put up pictures if you guys want.
