I noticed that my trunk vibrates up and down when I am driving, as if it weren't closed all the way. Is there any way I can tighten the mechanism that holds it in place so it won't move at all?

 

check to make sure the latch is still good. With the trunk down, get in the trunk and try and find things that are rattling, u can use a rubber mallet and lightly tap here and there to find it. Underneath your speakers that are bars that travel back and fourth that stabalize the trunk when lifted. watch out for those buggers, there loud.

 

if its anything like my trunk, there should be some rubber stopper things on the underside of the trunk. unscrew these a bit so when u close it, it pushes into the trunk more. this should help a lil.

under the 94 coupe trunk latch there is a small spacer... take the spacer out and the trunk will have to close tighter to properly latch.
