i have an oil leak right around my oil pump.... it is not from the pan, and is dripping out from under the lower timing belt cover, it's not from the head, it's down on the lower end somewhere..... i think it might be the crank seal on the oil pump, but i guess it could be something else. what do guys think..... is it possible to blow out a seal on a honda?

 

Balancer Shaft seal is a recall from Honda...have you had it done?

 

balance shaft seal. if you don't have the clip that honda issues for it have it checked out immediately.

you could easily seize your newly built motor if this occurs.

 

i put in one of thos balance shaft sealretainers, i was thinking maybe the crankshaft seal....

 

are you getting steady oil pressure?

 

i had my balancer shaft seal go once

 

oil pressure is about 25psi at idle, and 50psi with contant throttle, and WOT with higher RPMS, it goes up to about 75psi
