What seals are on the Crank pulley side of the engine?
So I have a really leaky F22b1. I just replaced the timing belt again and i also replaced a bunch of seals on that side of the motor:
1. Camshaft seal
2. Balance shaft seal
3. Balance shaft gear o-ring
4. Front Crankshaft seal.
Right now there is a very thin layer of oil on the oil pan and i can see a small drop form on the lowest part of the timing belt cover. Are there any more seals on that side of the motor that i missed? Could it be the oil pan that is causing that leak?

on the front you've got your balancer seals, the water pump (no oil there I know), the cam seal, and the oil pump.
The oil pump is sealed to the block using hondabond. Perhaps it's leaking where the oil pump attaches to the block. Or the oil pan itself could be leaking.

ok it looks like i got all the seals then. I didn't do the the oil pump cover. I hope its not leaking. I'm hoping its just the oil pan, that would be a much easier fix.
Its weird i changed the gasket not that long ago. I guess i didn't do it right.

the oil pump cover does not hold in any fluids so you're all set there.

ok great so thats ruled out so then it must be the oil pan gasket then. But some of the oil is collecting on the bottom of the lower timing belt cover. Is it possible for the oil to get there from the oil pan gasket?

doubt it.
however it could be coming from your oil dipstick tube - I just thought of this now. did you replace the o-ring on the dipstick when you reinstalled it? are you sure it's fully seated? check that.

yeah i got the balance shaft retainer kit and it came with that o-ring. It is properly seated, i had to use some extentsions to push it down. I looked at it again, the front half (dipstick side) of the lower timing cover is clean the back is kinda oily. It looks like its coming from the top.

valve cover gasket? maybe the cam seal isn't fully seated? hopefully not a head gasket, as the hg is basically at the division of the upper and lower timing covers.

If the head gasket is gone shouldn't there be oil in the coolant?
What i'm going to do is attack the oil pan first and then go from there. I know of all the seals now so i'll just go one by one and recheck my work. thanks
