anyone have this problem with their "EG"?
front and rear bumper covers falling off on the ends, because those shitty fasteners honda decided to use don't last!
If so, how did you fix this, and how well and long did it hold up? thanks!

did you have any rust on teh rear wheel well right above the bumper cover? if so, what did you do with that, or what would you reccomend? thanks!

I'm on my 3rd bumper on my EK and it's on there with zip ties, I reccomend nut's and bolts for the outer fender though, and there is two 10mm that hold the bottom ov the bumper on, don't forget about those.

 

drilll...use zip ties......easy fix

 

Sander and rustolem. Sand all of the rust away until you see metal and then coat it with rustolem paint.

 

POP RIVETS

 

It's gonna turn out like crap and won't match your finish very close. If the car isn't in great shape, that's what I would do. If the rest of the car is good, then sand it, throw some self etching primer on there, sealer, and take paint the factory color. If you don't have a spray gun/compressor etc, go to your local PPG paint supplier and have your paint mixed up in a aeresol can and spray that. Factory paint code, just in a can.

 

what is self-etching primer? should i use some bond-o to fill in the little spot where the rust is now gone?........also, what do you mean by sealer?
