Default to get the flywheel or not to get the flywheel.

i just now have enough money for a new clutch. im gettin an ACT. w/ HD pressure plate yada yada the most popular one. im debating wheter to wait another, say two months to get a new flywheel as well. will i notice a difference with it, acceleration, (in my 95 gsr with i/e) with the flywheel? my friends have 7.4 lb i belive, but i hear that it could break if its too light? i was thinkin about in the 9lb range. i dont have any plans for and boost or anything in the near future just some bolt on stuff. what do you think my best route would be?

get it. As long as you're not putting out an a$$ load of torque, you should be fine. I've heard of some awd dsms shear the hub off, but they were putting out some insane power. I've noticed that my acceleration has increased based on before and after runs with different people/cars.

I hate to be an ***...

But there are a TON of topics about flywheels

Go aluminum, it wont break, driveability is almost the same, etc etc.
