Default ST rear sway bar: 88 vs 89-91 differences?

I just want to double check since I don't know much about the non-88 rear LCAs. Is the rear ST sway bar:

1) Same for all 88-91
2) Same sway bar but different end-links/adapters for the 88
3) Two completely different kits for 88 vs. 89-91

?

Thanks for any info!

The 88 has different LCAs than the 89-91. The ST Sway Bar is exactly the same for 88-91 but you need to buy the kit that adapts the sway bar to work with the 88. It won't attach to your car without the kit.

Thanks for the info!

So this adapter is somehow worth $50? That seems to be the going price difference between the 88 and the 89-91 bars.
