just installed my skunk2 short shifter
WOW! what a difference. I love this thing sooooooo much. It is great to just shift and not have to stretch so far! It was really easy too. Alot easier than i thought. Once you actually get under there u really see how easy it is to do. The only problem i have is the DAMN exhaust. I NAIL the heat shield if i have that hanger attached. I have read a few posts where peopole say bend the hanger up a bit...HOW?! that is pretty damn strong. For a temporary fix (i feel horrible about this) i zip tyed it off to the hanger to the hole in the rubber. What did everyone else do about this? just curious. and if stock exhaust has tis problem, how do people with larger aftermarket exhausts make them fit? I dont get it. Anways, i recommend it to everyone.
ok excuse my stupidity, but thats the piece behind the cat to the muffler section? I didnt have the time to do that today, but i will probably have to do that.... how did u bend it? what did u use? a hammer or something?
if you remove the heatshields, your shifter will get hot, especially if you have a metal ****. mine's off and in the summer time, it almost burns my hand.

I got the integra installed on my civic coupe, I love it. It feels great, and shifts really smoothly. Someone else installed my shifter, so i didn't have to worry about all that heat shield nonsense =D
