200hp with ctr or itr cams?

This is in a B18C5 with race gas. But still applicable IMO, since you'd probably change most of the components in the B18C1 to get it to this point.

We have a Gsr motor in a 2000 Si that has run a best time of 12.8@106. It is a daily driven car and this time was achieved with only the rear seats and the exhaust sytem removed. We have never dynoed the car, but I am positive that it weighs in the 2500 range w/o driver and I weigh 175. So I would have to guess that it is making VERY close to 200 at the wheels if not more. We are using a CTR intake cam with a stock GSR exhaust cam.

it can be done
itr intake manifold
port and polish head
lighter valves
upgraded valvesprings
ti retainers
cam gears
11.5+ cr
idealy lighter rods/pistons
bottom end balanced blue printed
header with at least a 2.5" collector
lightweight flywheel
leight weight (sub 13lb wheels)
hondata or other good tuning system (not vafc) and 2-3 hours on the dyno
that will land you with 200+whp
chris on this board with 198 whp with a itr motor. all that was done is 12.3 cr running 100 octane. head was stock, stock intake,
-chipped ecu (i think kenji)
-cam gears
-jdm honda itr header
-ctr pistons with mugen headgasket (12.3~cr)
motor just had 5 miles on it
dsr balanced and built the bottom end for him

201whp 144lbs of torque on my old GSR motor with ITR cams. SAE of course. Check out my old website if its still up with the list of upgrades (mostly everything) and dyno sheet. http://www.geocities.com/GZR4DR
It should be on the Integra section.

epgonzalez on the itr board has over 200 hp with stock cams (b18c5 I believe).. i have seen a b20 motor with ctr cams make 200 whp easy
Mods need to be alot more extensive than dropping in cams to get +200hp. Hope he doesn't mind me posting but this GSR is putting 204hp + 134lbft. Check it out:

That doesn't seem right..

So you have a 2000 Si with only the rear seats out, the exhaust system removed, and a CTR intake cam....... and your hitting high 12s in a 2700lb car?! (with driver)

why is everyone talkin bout type Rs? he said 200whp on the b18c1. and anything is possible, with enough money, but i haven't seen that many b18c1's dyno that high w/ itr cams. think about it, w/ the money it takes to get a b18c1 w/ itr cams into the 200s, they'd probably run w/ a more aggressive cam.
