Premium Gas For All Integras?
I just started lookin into integras. Do they all take premium gas, or just the gsr (I'm talkin like 94-98). With that said, what kind of gas milage do you get with your integra (mpg)? Thanks for oyur time.
LS does not need premium unless you advance the timing or up the compresion. Your mileage varies big time depending how much time you spend at the redline.
no need for premium on the RS/LS/GS/SE.. i always put in 87.
between each fill-up, i get about 300-340 miles winter, and 340-380 summer. each fill-up is about 11-12 gallons for me.
i also do lots of highway driving..

Just the GS-R needs premium unless you have have using FI or upped CR in a B18B. I do a lot of hwy driving and get btn 27-30mpg.
i noticed a little pinging on 87 so i switched to 89 and it does fine. about the gas mileage i usually get about 25 city and 30 hwy fillin up with about 12 gallons each time.

hehe... i typically run 92 octane in my LS because i like to run it as efficiently and as clean as i can manage.
Here's an article on running on lower octane that may enlighten you:

The non-vtec Integras require regular unlead but you should also consider the way you drive. If you are the type of person who likes to floor the gas pedal then you should defintely pump at least mid-grade gas.
i use premium in my gsr, everything else gets mid-grade....i think it's worth it for the 1-2 cents more....
usually get around 25-30 mpg, sometimes better

well the grades are usually $.08 - $.12 differences where i live.

Is it just me or does it seem like you get more gas w/premium than regular. When I put regular in my teg my gas light will usually go on around 220 on daily driving, and when i use premium gas the light will go on around 240-250. Is there any reason for this?
