DO you Got a Beat
Amazingly enough, I do NOT have pics... but here's what I've got...
2X12" subwoofers in a dual bandpass box, 400watts RMS apiece. That's a big-*** box, and it's just sitting on top of the spare tire well, facing backwards towards the rear taillights. I covered the rear wall there with sound deadening because the bass kept shaking loose the assembly screws
. They're Marathon brand if that means anything, and the box is an SPL comp box (meaning it's heavy as all hell).
I custom-mounted 6" woofers into all 4 of the stock speaker mounts, so they look completely normal. I don't know the RMS on those ones... they're AVI brand, if that means anything. Probably not.
I custom-mounted 4 3/4" directional silk tweeters onto the A-pillar and the rear hatch pillars. Looks very clean, if I do say so myself, but I have a tendency to bonk my head on them getting in and out of the car. They're also AVI brand.
As for the crossovers, I have four two-way crossovers, one for each woofer/tweeter pair. They're permanently mounted to the storage box just behind me. Again, AVI brand (I got a deal on a package
).
The amp is a Blaupunkt 200 watt freebie I got from an ex-girlfriend as a birthday present. I'm running the subs in parallel off an 80 watt output, meaning 40 watts to each sub, 2 ohms apiece. There's four separate outputs for the speakers, meaning about 30 watts per woofer/tweeter pair, divided at the crossover to about 15 watts per woofer/tweeter. It's permanently mounted beside the crossovers. I drilled holes in the box for the wires to run through, and they all run either under the carpet or behind the trim, so unless you look at the amp, the wiring's completely invisible.
I know that's not quite what you're looking for... but I hope it helped
